Groklaw on SCO's letter to Congress

Groklaw has posted a set of comments on SCO's letter to Congress. The article also includes the article text, for those who don't want to deal with PDF. "The letter is offensive in many ways, and there are several obviously untrue things in it, but the most egregious is the assertion that open source is a security risk. If Linux is a security risk, why is there a National Security Agency version of Linux, Security Enhanced Linux?"

Perhaps some members of congres won't like SELinux because it allows
everyone, including countries in the "Axis of Evil", to have secure IT
infrastructures that the CIA can't hack ;-)

Groklaw on SCO's letter to Congress, a nice promotion for Linux

For the security aspect please visit http://www.nsa.gov/selinux/ As the NSA has its own secure version of Linux, it is clear Linux is no security threat. Congress is not likely to speak about the aleged copyright claims, as long as the dispute on this topic is not resolved in court.
So what remains is a nice promotion for Open Source software

Groklaw mentions a letter (maybe this letter, maybe not) is still going through the anthrax testing process. Considering the source, they should test it for rabies too :)

As I read it, they mean *any* letter mailed on that date would not have made it through the anthrax-screening process, ergo the particular letter in question is so affected (by the delay, not necessarily by anthrax ;O).
