I went to sydney 2001. very interesting and hot.
Its been around Oz now and the consideration of GodzOwn, (Nz) has some advantages. It's not so hot and a bit further away from ground zero when WWIII starts.

Auckland is closer to Sydney than perth or darwin and hasn't much on melbourne.

It will cater for the perennially poor student population here.

More significantly,
Oz seems to have an open source awareness in the govt now.
I think much of this has come from the linux conf.au exposure.
I would like to see some of that run off around here.
