Tor Messenger chat client beta available

The Tor Project has announced the beta release of a new, off-the-record (OTR) chat client called Tor Messenger. As expected, chat session traffic is sent entirely over Tor. In addition, the application requires the use of OTR encryption—rather than merely providing it as an option. The beta is available for Linux, Windows, and Mac OS X systems.
