The interview with Keith Packard is quite interesting really. If you'll forgive a stupid question, though, what is window-level compositing (an extension to X he mentions a few times)?

I'll be at FOSDEM, anyone else here going?
At the FSF associate member meeting last march, everyone was given stickers with their name & email address which was great because half of us knew eachother, but no one would have recognised anyone else without seeing their email address. I'll probably wear a sticker at fosdem.
