Thanks for reading

As we journey into an unknown future for LWN, I wanted to take this opportunity to say "Thank You" to everyone who has read the security page in 2002. It has been my pleasure to assemble information for you each week that has, I sincerely hope, been of real value.

Safe Travels,
Dennis Tenney, LWN.net Security Page Editor

Thank you very much for this page. I pretty much rely on it to stay abreast of possible vulnerabilities in my systems, and have found it saves me a lot of work compared to what it would to keep track of these things myself.

Thanks for the security section

Just want to say thanks. I have come to rely on LWN's security announcements and security page to keep track of updates for my systems. I really don't know how I'm going replace your service if you're not around anymore-it has become a onestop shop. Every other site out there is ambigious, not well organized, and I would have to spend hours each week digging through them all. Personally, I think LWN could stand on the security section alone! I for one am more than willing to pay a subscription just to keep access to this!

absoulutely. Just think "apache remote exploit" and "that ssh nightmare". Yeah, this page has been more than just helpful, its been a real lifeline at times. Thanks.
