Alternative localization tool for faster team translation

Parent article: Translating software with Pootle

A fast alternative to the above mentioned solutions is the localization management platform https://poeditor.com/

All the soft spots mentioned for Pootle are covered by POEditor. Besides email notifications, there is a space for comments next to each localizable string (also a good solution to post screenshots).

Fuzzy flags and proofreading flags (and roles) can be used to avoid translation mistakes.

The entire translation process is accompanied by visual signals useful to seamlessly localize the project at hand. For example, string length or blank spaces, or variables - these are things that the translators will not have to worry about.

A good deal of automation can be achieved with POEditor features like API, Translation Memory and GitHub/Bitbucket integrations.

All in all, it's a great localization tool that anyone can get a grip of, and that saves a lot of time and grey hairs. :)
