Dear Colleague,

LogOn Technology Transfer is looking for Tutorial and for Business 
Presentation Submissions for the LogOn Briefings Europe 2004.

The LogOn Briefings are building upon LogOn's established series of 
European events such as the OMG Information Days, Linux@work, LogOn Web 
Days (including Java Days & XML Days), and Storage Days.

A LogOn Briefing is designed as a vendor-neutral platform providing an 
up-to-date overview on the most relevant technical and business aspects 
of a specific technology.

Topics of the LogOn Briefings 2004 include

OMG - Integrating the Enterprise 
Open Source & Linux@work 
Security - Protect your Business 
XML - Building Next Generation Internet Applications
Web Services - Connecting Enterprises
SAPR R/3R - Supporting the Enterprise
Java - Where New and Old Economy Meet
Storage - Building the Foundation for Managing Tomorrow's Data

Call for Submissions -- Instructions:

Each Briefing is a one-day event consisting of a set of technical 
tutorials and an afternoon program of product-neutral Business 
Presentations, Corporate Sessions and an Exhibition.

This Call is for Tutorial and for Business Presentation Submissions.

*** Business Presentations ***

Business Presentations for the afternoon conference are 30-45 minutes 
long.

Your submission can be

- a case study
- a technical review and/or technology assessment
- a presentation on IT Management 

Product or marketing presentations will not be accepted. 

*** Technical Tutorials ***

The tutorials are addressed to a ** technical ** audience that is looking 
for in depth education on specific topics. Tutorial sessions will be 3 
hrs long. 

Speaker Compensation for Tutorials: EUR 400 flat plus 1 night hotel


Interested individuals or organisations are invited to submit

+++ not later than January 15, 2004 +++

an abstract of the Tutorial or Business Presentation, including a brief 
biography of the presenter.
