Akin to Ford naming a car "Convertable" - despite the fact many convertables out there. However, "Geevertable" would be completely acceptable.

Yes, that makes less sense.The hacker in me wants to figure out whether it means that the statement "Rose is a rose" is (also) a rose, or Rose herself is indeed interchangeable with the remark "a rose is a rose", or if the second "is a rose" is just for emphasis, or covers up embarassment at the banality of the first half. Vexing, true, but doctorate fodder in more refined milieus than this.
