Chuck's been around a long time

It's great that NetApp is stepping into the open source arena is a more visible way, but it's more an extension of its current policy than a change of heart.

For quite some time, NetApp's Chuck Lever has been working via CITI at UMich to provide a decent NFSv4 implementation for Linux. Lurk for a while on the nfs mailing list and you're sure to see Chuck's name pop up quite often.
