In fact, Lennart shared more disturbing stuff privately. Like a threat on his voicemail, threat on the #systemd irc on 10 of octber ( copycat ), and he said that the hitman-bitcoin story was someone messaging him on irc with a github link, showing a banner asking for bitcoin donation for a hitman ( he asked to remove that ). Of course, you will likely not accept this, after all, everything could be fake.

You can add the various threats made by the notorious troll Mikeeusa on Debian-devel and lklm under a fake name ( gregory smith and others ), the youtube video made by the same guy, who then start to push his hate discourse on debianusersforums.org forum ( again under another name, but saying he was banned from debian-user several time and linking his videos, and the videos linked to his soundcloud account ). He was kicked out again after being outed. And he tried to push other to act violently, as you can see on http://www.debianuserforums.org/viewforum.php?f=63 ( look for all post of sgryphon, not sure if you can read them in the banned section without opening a account ). He also tried to explain how he should be able to rape women, because the bible said so.

But as the past have show, this kind of guy do not just stop, he just stop to be public. This one was know since years ( http://geekfeminism.wikia.com/wiki/MikeeUSA ). So yeah, maybe he is behind some kind harassment of the Debian people who where in favor of systemd ( as both Joey, Russ and Tolef were kinda in favor of systemd in the end ). After the post of lennart, a few people from the gamer gate movement have started to label lennart as "social justice warrior", but this didn't result in harassement like the one faced by Zoe Quinn or Anita Sarkisian. But maybe a small part of the group did move there, as the movement start to show its limit after being dispelled again and again.

But of course, you can hide the head in the sand, and pretend this didn't happened either, and all is some kind of operation to force Debian to use systemd. Maybe all of this is about ethics in the packaging.
