Development kernel 2.6.0-test10 released
[Posted November 24, 2003 by corbet]
Linus has, finally,
released the
2.6.0-test10 kernel. This kernel contains about a month's worth of small
but important patches, and, despite some apparent problems with kernel
preemption, is being considered as something close to the real 2.6.0 final
release. "
I'm planning/hoping on basically turning this over to Andrew, and let him
decide to make the final 2.6.0 or not. Timing-wise Andrew is apparently
going to be off for a few weeks, so regardless of whether this turns out
to be rock solid or not, we'll have a few weeks of final testing before
that were to happen." As usual,
the
long-format changelog has the details.
