Although, i assume they're referring to desktop accounting packages (i.e. quickbooks). I agree, Accpac's only two storage options are pretty lame. DB2 is bloated, slow, java blah. pervasive is a strange dinosaur which won't be around long with mysql/postresql being more extensible not to mention zippier.

You may need to do a bit of LaTeX hacking for your forms though...
