$15000 per month is quite an amount. How about you folks keep writing articles and let the others to do the misc. stuff? Remove some dynamic contents. E-mail the articles to a volunteer(student!? (: ). Let he/she post it and mirror it to several locations(from other volunteers). Set up a page/DNS which redirect to the mirrors in round robin manner. Will it save most of the cost and work? I think it is much easier for you folks to see it as a part time job and receive a small amount of donation as salary rather than running it as a true business.
