Andrew seems to use -mm as a test bed for the 2.6 release.. so patches for 2.6 have already have had some testing in -mm prior to reaching 2.6 proper. There are a lot of the features already in 2.6-mm that will find their way in to 2.6.{1,2,3..} already. Not sure if this is good, bad - but it is certainly different.
