OpenI18N 1.3 added to LSB Certification program

*** LSB Certification open for OpenI18N Globalization Specification 1.3 

We are pleased to announce that we have added the OpenI18N Globalization
Specification 1.3 to the LSB Certification program.

The new certification product standard is called the LSB
Internationalized Runtime Environment 1.3 and is for platforms providing
a common internationalized environment that conform to both the Free
Standards Group LSB and OpenI18N specifications.

Major features of a conforming LSB Internationalized Runtime Environment 1.3
include:

    * a conforming LSB Runtime Environment 1.3
    * OpenI18N conforming libraries
    * The ability to run internationalized application software

The LSB Internationalized Runtime Environment 1.3 replaces
the previous 1.2 version of the LSB Internationalized Runtime Environment.

About LSB Certification:

Only products that have been LSB Certified are permitted to use the
"LSB Certified" trademark. The "LSB Certified" mark assures users and
customers that the software they are using has the highest-possible
run-time adherence to the Free Standards Group standards -- and that
the software they are using will work with other LSB Certified products.
The LSB Certification program was developed and is operated on behalf
of the Free Standards Group by The Open Group.
