Note about piracy and XP activation:
In Belarus you can get for 2.5 USD per CD for corporate versions of Windows and Office XP that just require to enter license code without any activation. The activation code is in readme file with detailed installation instructions in Russian and also conveniently placed on a sticker that comes with CD.
I can guess it is much more easy to use such CDs then the official ones costing hundreds of backs that needs activation over phone and potentially another one whenever the computer is upgraded.
Needless to say Linux in Belarus is non-existent and it is almost impossible to find Linux CDs there.
