FreeBSD 9.2 released

The FreeBSD Release Engineering Team has announced the availability of FreeBSD 9.2. This release features some ZFS filesystem enhancements along with various updated packages. The release notes contain the details.

Unless I missed the announcement here, the bigger news is the release of FreeBSD 10's first alpha two weeks ago:

Important changes are the move from gcc to clang as the default compiler, the removal of bind as the default name server, the rewrite of CARP, and some focus on virtualisation features.
