Kernel release status
The 3.11 kernel is out, released on
September 2. Some significant features in this release include the
Lustre distributed filesystem, transparent huge page support for the ARM
architecture, Xen and KVM virtualization for ARM64, the O_TMPFILE
open flag, dynamic power management in the Radeon graphics driver, the low-latency Ethernet polling patch set, and
