It's just the webserver. Besides, they just moved between two solutions provided by IBM. It's a far cry from a company-wide switch.

Yes, but American Express is probably what one would call a risk-averse company. I'd think that their willingness to adopt Linux could be seen as a vote of "no confidence" for SCO's case against IBM/Linux. Not earth-shattering news, but good to see that the parade of FUD from SCO is not holding major companies back...

"risk-adverse" my butt! American Express will commit acts of fraud against you if you don't allow them direct electronic access to your checking account if you pay your bill with a check. I've sued them once in small claims court and won a $1400 judgement against them, but they continue to demand direct access to my bank account electronically and continue to commit act after act of fraud... I'm about ready to see what the EFF thinks before I sue them again.

That fraudulent companies can make sound IT decisions isn't news.

More significant is the latest Netcraft web survey with a vigorous
increase of Apache.
