Singapore will kick off the "Asian Enterprise Open Source Conference" or AEOSC
on 30/Oct/2003 and lasts until 31/Oct/2003.
The event is organised by Linux Users Group Singapore, and government bodies :
IDA, EDB IDG is the event manager.
Highlights of the event are:
- FreeBSD hacker Greg Lehey's talk on SMP in FreeBSD
- PHP5 new features intro by Marcus Borger
- OpenSource in Government by Chong Chan Meng, Ministry of Defence
- Several talks/discussions on IP/Copyrights etc
- Copyright/Copyleft - from the legal eyes by Tan Min Liang
