Interesting. I expected they'd have worked out a SurfaceFlinger-based display for their Ubuntu on Android product, but not that they'd use it for Ubuntu Touch. Both products advertise X-based applications (the usual Linux stuff) so perhaps they have X running on Surfaceflinger. If so, I hope they share it: it would be widely useful. Right now the best we have for X on Android is vnc (as far as I know).
