An amusing theory with just one small problem: LWN uses https by default. That means they consume a lot of entropy every time somebody connects to read the latest flames. All the SSL connections from a massive systemd flamewar will actually deplete their entropy pool far faster than the posts will refresh it. Not to mention the absolute foolishness of depending on user-provided information to replenish the entropy pool in the first place...

It's not like systemd or gnome3 threads contain any entropy anyway.... ;)

the timing of our network packets might just contain enough of it .. Though the time between requests might correlate with the current length of the thread (at least for individuals reading the comments) .
