Do people really expect app developers to port en masse to that platform? Yes. I'm pretty sure they'll fail, but there is some hope. HTML5 seems far more attractive as a porting target. "HTML5-only" is dead end. You can write some applications purely in HTML5, but in the end enough of them require C++ (to reuse existing libraries). Any platform without the ability to reuse C++ code is stillborn.
