It would have been better to do a full install, of course, but I lacked the time and an available machine; failing that, I felt the need to point out that I had been unable to look at an important piece of the release.

Sure, it's fair to point out you didn't look at it. I guess I must have misread what you wrote, when I read "which is where a lot of the problems were." I did not read: "That is the area that cause much of the Fedora 18 delay" I read: "That's where most of Fedora 18's problems were, not that I saw that first hand."

Yeah. I think the wording on that particular statement was ambiguous.
