What? No! I would very strongly recommend against breaking everyone's firewalls yet again, no matter what the provocation. Absolutely everyone is sick of it.

I think that was just referring to the original netfilter code *after* the introduction of a compatibility layer.

Ah. I thought it was talking about the removal of the compatibility layer...
