PC-BSD 9.1 Now Available

The PC-BSD team has announced that PC-BSD 9.1 is now available. "This release includes many exciting new features and enhancements, such as a vastly improved system installer, ZFS “Boot Environment” support, TrueOS (A FreeBSD based server with additional power-user utilities), and much more!"

If you mean pkgng, as I understand, PC-BSD uses its own packaging system (PBI) but you can also use FreeBSD packages/ports. Since it is based on FreeBSD 9.1, perhaps it already includes pkgng, otherwise it shouldn't be a problem installing it yourself.
