Crowding out OpenBSD

When Electoral College was invented, the balance was believed to have been found. It balanced the weight of each states and prevented possible irrational passion.

But right now, swing states seem to attract all focus, and the rest appear not that important, as everyone knows their choices.

The same, the differences between Linux and *BSD are partially affected by some commercial drivers. Graphic cards and WiFi chips are the two most significant factors for developers as their new laptops can survive in Linux but not *BSD. When PC-BSD looks blur while my Arch Linux with font-patch looks terrific, I already make my choice. The problem is developers will not use the computers for developing only, they will use them for entertainment as well.

Both Linux and *BSD are awesome, and people should feel free to choose. I hope the drivers will not prevent developers/users from one system to the other, because the same sad story happened many years ago, when Linux did not equip enough drivers to compete with Windows.
