Parent article: Crowding out OpenBSD
The only part of my digital life that i regret is that I found that crap linux (1998) before I discovered BSD (2004). And to top that: Linux got a hundred times worse than the disgusting crap it was back then. Just now I spilled my tea because of the nightmaris memories.
I had the dubious honor to read the comments above in which some young and inexperienced linux users fantasized that "BSD has disappeared" etc... Well, if I take all my UNIX acquintances, only 1 (one) is using linux (yo A'rpi ;). The others are either OS/X, NetBSD, or Windows 7. If some of them have to deploy their works on a linux/buguntu garbage dump, they have their minions to do it. I routinely charge +50% above my payment if it involves me touching a linux (IF I even accept the job, and that's damned rare), 'cause that's how much more alcohol I'll have to consume to treat the brain cancer I get.
Oh, and every thread that has "SElinux" written in it - is bogus.
