I have problem with the gcc which distributed with SuSE 8.2 ( gcc (GCC) 3.3
20030226 (prerelease) (SuSE Linux) ). I can not use it to compile the plain
vanilla linux kernel 2.4.20. For me the gcc is the heart of GNU/Linux system
since all (almost) of the packages were built from that compiler. I hope in
the next release of SuSE will use the stable version of gcc.
