I'm wondering how long they'd last as soon as they said they had anything at all to do with Gentoo. Lennart appears to, ahem, not like Gentoo very much, or people who use it. (Apparently Greg gets some sort of grandfathered-in get-out.)

as lennart just said, working with the ubuntu udev maintainer is no problem. As i am certain he dislikes ubuntu more than gentoo it is clear that his offer was sincere and your comment not needed. You might not like Lennart but dont accuse him of stuff he doesn't do please, it is childish.
