GIMP 1.3.21 released (GnomeDesktop) Posted Oct 9, 2003 13:41 UTC (Thu) by proski (subscriber, #104) [Link] I must admit that after one day of using GIMP 1.3.20 the old GIMP 1.2.x seems so dull, old and inconvenient. There are little additions that one quickly gets accustomed to. GIMP 1.3.x allows to set selection to the "add" or "subtract" mode without having to hold Shift or Ctrl. Another welcome change is that almost all operations can be applied to a particular layer. Definitely worth a try even if you are not a designer (I'm not).
