By now, the time seems ripe for there to be a kernel-user-space API maintainer—someone whose job it is to actively review and ack every kernel-user-space API change, and to ensure that test cases and sufficient documentation are supplied with the implementation of those changes. Hark, is that the sound of volunteering? ;)
