The Windows 8 logo requirements only require the ability to *either* (a) disable secure boot entirely, *or* (b) add your own keys to the DB. Your motherboard seems to support (a) but not (b), which is perfectly all right for Windows 8 logo compliance.

Does the requirement make a distinction between "disable secure boot" and "disable UEFI"? It sounds like nix had to do the latter.
