Mandrake ships with MPlayer

Parent article: The Great Package Management Experiment

The article is wrong here, Mandrake ships with MPlayer in it's main distribution since 9.1. The package is missing some features, e.g. CSS and AAC support. The PLF package of MPlayer was compiled from the same source package with a command like this

rpm --rebuild --with plf mplayer-0.91-7mdk.src.rpm

The switch enables the additional features and renames the resulting package from 7mdk to 7plf to make it distinguishable from the official build.
