wait for Linus to push out -rc1 and you will see it included.

Samsung's F2FS filesystem

It's not been merged so far, and I'd be somewhat surprised if it went in during this cycle. This is brand-new code that showed up in the middle of the merge window...I would guess that it would sit for a turn and be merged for 3.8. But, then, we all know how good my guesses are...

we'll see. It is an independent filesystem, so it doesn't interact with anything else.

being posted in the middle of a merge window seems like exactly the right time to ask for a pull. people are not required to put everything in -next first.

It's only if it shows evidence of being developed/rebased during the merge window that Linus gets cranky.

This is assuming that people looking at it don't find major issues. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Linus hold off to -rc2 to give people more of a chance to look it over.

Once it gets modprobe'd (perhaps in response to ‘mount usb-key’), then it interacts with everything. Cf. Windows users actually do things like install drivers from a random USB stick...

Can't wait for it to be merged! And switch my local sd storages to some same fses, especially interesting for sd cards in phone.
