Kernel release status
The current development kernel is 3.6-rc7, released on September 23. This one
includes a codename change to "Terrified Chipmunk." Linus says: "So
if everything works out well, and the upcoming week is calmer still, I
suspect I can avoid another -rc. Fingers crossed."
