the sites that I've seen do that offer such pitiful bounties for features that massively underestimate the amount of work that would need to be done Maybe it's just erroneous wording, but I don't think that's what you see. Those bounties don't estimate what it would cost to implement - they estimate what the feature would be worth to the offeror, and therefore simply tell us that implementing features is a waste of resources.
