Unless your daemons are setup to support run with systemd and the init configuration is migrated to unit files then it really just amounts to a overgrown SysV init. You are not probably going to gain much benefit from installing it.

I don't know how well systemd integrates into Debian when you install it, but considering that it's just one of three different init systems I can't imagine that it is good.

It's pretty good. A lot of services are now shipping unit files (which automatically override SysV scripts).
