The Alan's Diary Translation Project
For those wanting to follow Alan Cox's progress as he disconnects from
kernel development and heads off to pursue an MBA: Paul Sladen has been translating his diary
from the original Welsh.
"So, the next three days to finish hacking
the VIA CLE266, unsubscribe from all the lists and buy some paper
folders. Except in 3 days, awful food, woe and having to get up in the
morning... I hope I can remember the hang of studying."

Other amusing point is that he calls Linux 'llinwcs'.Off to resubscribe, how could I miss news like this?

I still don't understand what "GWY" stands for.

I wonder if Alan will still find time to make LUG meetings once he's started his MBA.

For some strange reason, at the Debian 10th Birthday Party in Cambridge, he decided that the host's fridge door was hung the wrong way round, and decided to fix the situation there and then. Steve wasn't very happy about this, and asked him politely to revert his modifications. (Perhaps he should have submitted a bug report against the fridge instead?)

He has this link on the diary, to explain why it's in Welsh: Pam ydych chi'n ysgrifennu yn Gymraeg/Why do you write in Welsh ?
