The Great Package Management Experiment
Very good article, but could you enhance it with
more complicated examples?
- Downgrading the complete system or parts of it
- Using a "stable" OS, but adding some brand-new
packages, without breaking everything
- Setting up your own repository of self-made
packages
- Setting up your own partial mirror of official
packages
I know, that Debian's apt supports all this somehow,
but maybe the other distributions do this better or more
clever?
