Dude, take it easy. If I'm misinformed it's because their own home page does not say anything about any platform besides Linux, not even other Unices like MacOS are mentioned, so you can't blame a person for coming to that conclusion.

But if it's easier to port because there's much less code to maintain it's also because it will give you a lot less basis to build your applications upon I guess. That's the strength of Qt, that it tries to abstract away most of the things you'd need for any kind of application. Of course it also means that porting it is a heck of a job that will leave all kinds of smaller platforms behind.

Porting Qt to other platforms has become rather easy with project Lighthouse. With Qt5 it should be even easier, but right now it's pretty hard to find documentation. At least, I didn't succeed :-).
