Yes, that sort of thing would be very useful, and would make your phone belong to you more than to an alien application.

So far, though, I get by surprisingly well by just not installing them. Even without spending money. The only thing I needed was a non-intrusive firewall, and now most apps don't even show ads and I'm now even free to install data grabber apps (location, ID, phone numbers), as long as the collected information stay on the phone.
