Rumanian edition of Linux Magazine now available
Linux New Media expands international activities
Linux Magazin Rumania is the first Linux-oriented publication in Rumania and
operates as a licensed edition of the English-language Linux Magazine, which
is available in over 50 countries. "This step is a continuation of our
international strategy and solidifies our role as the world's largest Linux
content provider" notes Rosemarie Schuster, Managing Director of Linux New
Media AG, "there is a huge interest in Linux in Eastern Europe".
Linux a hot topic in Eastern Europe
"Linux is the dominant server OS in Rumania" confirms Marian Anghel,

Additional Internet offering
Linux Magazin Rumania launched with the September issue and a print run of
8,000 copies. Most of the content is translated from the original Linux
Magazine, but also contains articles from local authors. In addition, the
Rumanian-language website www.linux-magazin.ro offers exclusive local
content, translated material from www.linux-magazine.com, as well as
extracts from the print publication.
