Which major distribution offers an installation mode with x86_64 kernel and full i386 userspace?
When Steven Rostedt answers that question, he might get a glimp of one of the reasons. But that would have needed to acknowledge that distributions form the installation experience for majority of Linux users, not availability of technology.
