Parent article: Fedora, secure boot, and an insecure future

So, what is the procedure for rescuing a system under secure boot? IIUC there is no way one can fix the operating system, file system, or bootloader after something goes wrong. Maybe not a problem for perfect operating systems such as Windows, but what if I misconfigured my Linux box?

I suppose a system that won't boot is completely secure against boot-time malware. Not too useful though.

You use a rescue image with a signed bootloader, or you disable Secure Boot temporarily to fix the problem.
