Accounting software is either country specfic or it needs heavy localization because of different accounting practices and laws.
However, it sounds unbelievable that there is nothing suitable for the US market. For the 60 times smaller Finnish market there is Pupesoft.
I have no experience with the system or with business accounting in general. I have met 1 happy Pupesoft user and one non-user who recommeded to localize some international/American(?) system instead. Unfortunately I don't recall the name.
