Microsoft is slowly turning more and more into a "normal" large creative IT company, like Google or IBM or Apple or Facebook. They contribute cool stuff to open source while on the other hand they do things that aren't good for open source. Just like all the other ones.

They key word - slowly. So far they are one of the worst software patent aggressors around.

That's not true. MS wants revenue. Apple is by far worse.

I didn't say they are the worst. Apple is possibly worse. But they are definitely one of the worst.
