I'm pretty sure I read that Wayland could provide for a way to kill misbehaving apps, that here was nothing preventing them from doing that.

Yes, in a talk about Wayland at FOSDEM this year this was mentioned, but it seemed to be still work in progress.

So is this working on the premise that you can get someone to do anything as long as you have a gun pointed at their head?
