A simple question to ask McBride:
How would you react if some company claimed that their IP was in your Unixware
product, refused to tell you which IP but nonetheless steadfastly demanded
payment?
McBride is in effect telling the Open Source community that they should just take
SCO's word for it and that money is due to SCO. Somehow I can't help but believe
that, if the shoe were on the other foot, McBride's stance would match the Open
source community's "put up or shut up" or, even more likely, would amount to "get
lost".
