Perhaps OT, but I would love to see a good comparison of GO1 vs c++11. Surprisingly, google doesn't find any (it found one but wasn't very in depth). It seems to me that they target different application domains.

i would characterize go *roughly* as an attempt to create a sequel to c that is something between python and java
